What is a care circle?
A care circle is a private, secure group built around one person you are caring for. You invite family members, friends, or professional caregivers to join, and everyone in the circle shares the same schedule, medication log, and care notes.
Is my family's health data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Care circles are private by default, and only people you personally invite can access your circle. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties.
Is KinLoop HIPAA compliant?
KinLoop is designed with HIPAA-conscious principles, including encryption, access controls, and audit logging. It is a consumer care coordination tool, not a covered entity under HIPAA, but it is built to handle health information responsibly.
Can multiple family members access the same circle?

Can I record a doctor visit?
Yes. On iPhone and Android you can record a visit and KinLoop transcribes it right on your device. The audio is never uploaded, and the written summary stays private until you review it and choose to save it to the visit record.
Does KinLoop take care of the caregiver too?
Yes, and it is free. Caregiving is demanding, so KinLoop includes daily wellbeing check-ins for your own mood, energy, and stress, plus self-care logging and a private journal. A weekly family digest and proactive alerts also help the whole circle stay informed without anyone having to chase updates.
